WORKING BIBLIOGRAPHY ON ROMANS COMMENTARIES FROM THE PATRISTIC THROUGH
THE LATE MEDIEVAL PERIODS
What follows is a rough and incomplete draft of a bibliography
compiled from a variety of sources, with special indebtedness to J. A.
Fitzmyer, Romans (Anchor Bible) and a web site archive from C. D.
Wright of the University of Illinois. Please feel free to correct,
add, or subtract from any of this. Obviously much more work needs
to be done, but I thought this might be helpful to start. We need
to decide soon the range of the coverage, including types of commentaries
as well as chs and verses from Romans, the materials to be translated,
and a division of translating chores.
