Spring, summer, fall and winter bring some 30 million visitors to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail, both just minutes from campus. Boone itself is a small town with a quaint, eclectic main street and lots of shops, restaurants and cultural attractions that appeal to students, parents, resident and visitors.
