Chairperson and shall schedule as many fund raising events each fiscal year as needed.
4.5 DISTRICT EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: The District Executive Committee, subject to the action of the Annual District Meeting and in compliance with the Constitution and By-Laws of SEANC and by the By-Laws of District 3 shall have general supervision and control over the affairs of the District.
ARTICLE IV:  CHAPTERS

Chapters can be formed by groups of fifty (50) or more members or may be formed by a lesser number of members with the approval of the District Executive Committee.

Section 1.   Chapter offices shall consist of a President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer.  The members of the chapter will elect these officers.

Section 2.    Duties of Chapter Officers and Committees:
 

1.1 Chapter President B conducts all meetings of the chapter and the Chapter Executive Committee.

1.2 Chapter Vice President B assumes the duties of the Chairperson in his/her absence.

1.3 Secretary-Treasurer B keeps all the minutes of the meetings and coordinates all chapter business matters with the District Secretary-Treasurer.


Along with these officers, each chapter may have Standing Committees to cover the following areas: membership, policy platform, group buying, fund raising, and an Executive Committee to oversee the chapter activities.
 


ARTICLE V.  AMENDMENTS



Section 1.  Each proposed amendment to the By-Laws of District 3 shall be voted upon at the Annual District Meeting, provided such amendment has first been submitted in writing and signed by the proponent and referred to the District Constitution Committee, and the report of that Committee made to the Annual District Meeting.
