Geology Honors

Graduation Requirements

Geology majors must complete GLY 4501 before taking GLY 4510 (Senior Honors Thesis). Students who complete a thesis with a grade of B or better and who graduate with a GPA of 3.5 in geology courses will be graduated with "honors" in geology; with a grade of A on the thesis and a geology GPA of at least 3.7, the student will be graduated with "highest honors" in geology.
