How do I view what companies I am eligible to potentially interview with?



From the Main Menu under the Interview Scheduling Section you will select the option labled "Signup for Interview Schedules." Remember that 1stPlace95 matches your data with the employer's criteria. You will only be able to see schedules that you are eligible to interview with or drop your resume for.

How do I signup for an interview with a company which has a MANUAL signup method?



From the Main Menu you would simply choose "Signup for Interview Schedules" and a list a companies would appear. You would simply select the company you were interested in, and the company information would appear on your screen. From this point you would find the heading entitled "Scheduling SignUp Action" and it would ask you if you would like to signup for an OPEN time slot. You would click on the "here" option and a list of time slots would appear. You would simply click on the time slot you were interested in, and that is it. It is that easy!



How do I "Drop" my resume for a company's Pre-Select Consideration?



Please review the answer to the question directly above. The only difference being that instead of asking you if you would like to signup for an open time slot, the system will ask you if you would like to submit your resume for Pre-Select Consideration and you would simply click the "here" option. Once again it is that easy!



How will I know if I have been selected to interview with a company after I drop my resume for pre-select consideration?



At exactly 12:00 A.M. 4 days before the actual date of the interview the list of selected students will be posted to the web. You will have to once again choose "Signup for Interview Schedules" from the Main Menu, and select the company that you are inquiring about. At this point you will receive one of 3 messages. First, that you have not been selected by the company for an interview. Secondly, yes you have been selected as an Alternate, which would allow you to signup for any available time slots 1 day prior to the actual interview date. Third, congratulation you have been selected for an interview please choose from one of the following OPEN time slots by clicking the "here" option once again. Identical process to signing up for a Manual Signup.



How do I review what interviews I have signed up for, and what companies I have "dropped" my resume with?



From the Main Menu you will select the option entitled "Review Your Interviewing History." From this screen you will be able to see what interviews you have signed up for, as well as what companies you have dropped your resume with. This is a nice feature that our office would strongly encourage you to become familiar with.
