Resume Referrals
For years, the Career Development Center at Appalachian State University
has been working with companies and school systems alike to help bring
employers and Appalachian students closer together. During this time the
two primary services our office was able to provide employers were
on-campus recruiting and resume referral listings. These two fundamental
services are the foundation of our office and will never completely
disappear; however, we are excited about the release of a new technology in
our office entitled the "Web Employer Module."
The "Web Employer Module" is designed to provide selected companies and
school systems with the ability to perform three critical functions in the
recruitment process on a daily basis via the Internet.
- Search our entire student resume database online
- Post job vacancies/announcements directly to the students' online
account
- Review and verify all information that is transmitted to the
students'account

However, if you do not have access to the Internet we continue to offer
traditional resume referral via the U.S. Postal Service or by Fax. Thank
