Students, the Student Employment Office is proud to introduce 1stPlace! 1stPlace will allow you the opportunity to view part-time job opportunities online through an encrypted site on the Internet. To learn more about this exciting new service, please stop by Room 388 of John E. Thomas Hall to speak with a Student Employment Office staff member.

If you feel as though you are comfortable enough with using the Internet and would like to view the part-time off-campus jobs right now please review the following instructions and then Proceed to the 1stPlace Student Login Screen.

Students, once you have made it to the Student Login Screen you will need enter in a Social Security Number and a Student ID Number.

To View Off-Campus Jobs Please Always Use The Following Information:

Social Security Number: 000-00-0000
Student ID: 000

Once you have entered in the above listed SS# and Student ID please click the button labeled "Login." At this point you should be at a screen labeled, "Main Menu/Non-Registered Applicants."

Once you have arrived at the Main Menu screen please click the option entitled "Show Job Listings" followed by "Part-Time Off Campus Jobs." At this point you should click on any one of the nine job categories. To learn more about a particular job and who to contact, click on any job and a brief description and contact information will appear. Once you have reached this point you will want to click the "PRINT" button in either Netscape or Internet Explorer so you will have a hard copy reference.

You will continue to repeat this process for all jobs you are interested in learning more about. Once you are finished viewing the jobs you will need to exit out of the system completely which may be accomplished by clicking the "X" box in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Congratulations you have just viewed "Off-Campus Jobs Online!"
