Create a portfolio to document your learning. (5 - 10 points depending
on quality). A portfolio is a collection of artifacts which document your
learning. A portfolio that includes each of the learning activities conducted
during the class organized in some meaningful way will earn 5 points. An
additional 5 points will be earned by careful and thoughtful reflection
on the learning process. For example, the portfolio might include an explanation
of how the learning activities you chose complemented each other or provided
you with a balanced education in the area of acquired language disorders.
Materials which contributed to your learning that were pursued independently
would be appropriate to include in the portfolio. Consider a table of contents.
-
Class participation. (1-5 points based on instructor's judgment).
Students who contribute in an exceptional way to their peers' learning
through participation in class discussions and/or listserv discussions
will earn additional points.
