My thesis research involved the effects of ageing on the hydraulic conductivity of Galax urceolata, an herbaceous herb found in the southern Appalachians. I worked as a research technician in the Fisk lab for two and a half years on several projects in the Linville Gorge, NC and Hubbard Brook Research Forest, NH. My primary focus during that time was a study of the effects of disturbance on fungal colonization of dead fine roots.

I am currently the molecular/microbiology lab manager at ASU.
