Welcome to the Valborg Theatre technical specifications pages. It's our hope that these pages will give you a brief overview of our capabilities and equipment.
The Valborg Theatre is the teaching lab for Appalachian State University's Department of Theatre & Dance. The Technical Director, Greg Williams, oversees a paid staff of trained students as well as Production Activity students and volunteers.
We have a very active student chapter of USITT*, and we attend both the regional masterclasses and national conferences of this organization.
The Valborg Theatre hosts 4 Mainstage Theatrical and 2 Mainstage Dance productions each year. In addition, the Valborg is available to campus and community users, schedule permitting.
