Students are afforded many opportunities to work in a hands-on environment for both Theatre and Dance shows in The Valborg Theatre. Students who express interest in designing for Lighting, Sound, Scenery or Costume are given opportunities to compete for those slots for Mainstage productions.

Students who are chosen to design a Mainstage production work closely with a faculty or staff mentor who will guide them through the production process.

While not all of the shows in this list feature all student designers, each show was built, tweaked, lit, costumed, and aurally enhanced through the hard work and dedication of young theatre professionals.
