The following is a tentative course outline.  We will attempt to adhere to the outline as closely as possible; however, it may be necessary to depart from it at various times throughout the semester.  Although I will try to cover each topic as thoroughly as possible in the lectures, I strongly suggest that you enhance your understanding of these areas by reading the assigned pages in your textbook and related sections in the supplementary texts listed above.  Specific pages in the assigned textbook chapters will be provided as we cover each topic.
