These are cited in the order in which we will discuss them. The first day we will cover some introductory information based on your introductory reading and WWII POWS. On the final day we will discuss the rural/urban divide and wrap and draw all of our discussions together into a cohesive conclusion.

  5. Forming a cultural identity in a new land, in particular Bosnian immigrants in the United States (Here I would like you to consider the history of Turks in Germany)

  6. The rural/urban divide, negotiating services and social acceptance between to distinctly different cultural groups
