Welcome to Yongbeom Hur's Web site. I am an assistant professor and graduate faculty member of public administration in the Department of Government and Justice Studies at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I am interested in comparing managerial approaches and their effects on organizational performance between private and public sectors. Part of the reason may be coming from my unique working experiences in both sectors.
My teaching and research interests include human resource management, research methods, and quantitative approaches to public management.
