I have two young boys to raise.
Alexander just turned 7 years old,
and Xavier is 2 ½ years old.
As of right now, my partner and I are sharing Day Care responsibilities, so I go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at night, and stay home with my little one on the other days. It is challenging but it is working well so far for us.
I attend full time at ASU to obtain a degree in Health Education. My goal when I graduate is to find a job at the Health Department, or the Hospital working with maternal women and her family. I want to do childbirth education classes, parenting classes, family health classes and much more. My hope for the future in that job will to educate more families on a healthier lifestyle, and hopefully will be able to encourage more understanding and support of local midwives and natural childbirth and parenting.

I was born in Florida and moved to North Carolina when I was young. We lived in many different parts of North Carolina . We have called Watauga County home for about four years now. I am the second oldest of five sisters and two brothers who live in various parts of the world, yet we still manage to stay close. My older sister lives in London , England ; I have a brother in Chicago and three sisters and a brother in Florida . We get together as often as we can, which unfortunately is not often enough. My youngest sister and brother are about the same age as Alexander, which is just weird. My Grandmother, whom I am extremely close to, lives in Jackson County , NC, with my uncle Tim. That's my brief family story.
