The Marjorie and F. K. Mckinney Geologic Teaching Museum

housed in the newest addition of the Rankin Science Complex, Rankin South.

The McKinney Museum is an outreach project from the Department of Geology at Appalachian State University.

Exhibits of the museum will include:

•materials which supplement courses taught within the department as well as textbook exmaples of geolgical specimens

•displays on local and regional geology

•displays and explanations of current geological phenomenon.
