This website was created by the dramaturg* for this production of Bat Boy, ASU student Nikki Caruso, with guidance from Paulette Marty, a faculty dramaturg in the Department of Theatre & Dance.

*A dramaturg is a theatre collaborator who helps the artistic team enhance the audience's experience of a production. A dramaturg's duties vary from one production to another and may include: assisting the artistic team with research (on historical topics and contemporary issues), helping a director form his/her concept, creating performance guides and lobby displays, and helping playwrights develop and refine new plays.
