The Playwright

Lisa Loomer is a playwright and screenwriter, best known for writing The Waiting Room and co-writing the screenplay for Girl, Interrupted .   She is the author of over a dozen plays, many of which premiered in major cities in California and New York.   Her writing typically focuses on social constructs and the issues that arise from them.   Loomer was born in 1950.   Currently, she is collaborating on screenplays for upcoming films.
