2. Our three "outside" readings were oral tales that were written down at some point. First, write down the title of each story. Then, consider this: In each case, aspects of the stories pertain to the role of men and women. Compare these roles for each of the societies. You may take one specific woman or man or craft your points from a com-posite picture for each society. Let me know how these two roles changed over time.

5. The Renaissance is one of those exciting periods in history that still causes great debates among scholars. Please write about the principal reasons/background for this breakthrough and its main expressions.

6. We have spoken about the differences between the western world and India and China and you saw several videos to assist you in your discovery. What are these differences on the political, economic, and religious level for two of these two civilizations. (Either West and India or West and China.)
