National Council for History Education was founded in 1990 as a friend
to all
teachers of history. They promote
communication among all history educators, change the curriculum, and
give all
history teachers a continuing education in their field.

is to provide “leadership, service and support to all social studies
teachers.”

The
Internet Modern History Sourcebook is packed full of countless primary
documents from all over the world. In
addition to modern history there is a link to both the ancient and
medieval
sourcebooks as well.
