National Council for History Education
    The National Council for History Education was founded in 1990 as a friend to all teachers of history.  They promote communication among all history educators, change the curriculum, and give all history teachers a continuing education in their field.

National Council of Social Studies
    The National Council of Social Studies is intended to help social studies teachers instruct more efficiently.  Their goal is to provide “leadership, service and support to all social studies teachers.”

SAS In School
    A program developed by the SAS Corporation in Cary, NC.  SAS provides lesson plans and activities for instructors in all areas, as well as activities for students to do at home.

Internet Modern History Sourcebook
     The Internet Modern History Sourcebook is packed full of countless primary documents from all over the world.  In addition to modern history there is a link to both the ancient and medieval sourcebooks as well.

History Matters
     This is a great resource for students and teachers alike.  It contains links to many primary sources dealing with United States history.  Also, it has links to quizzes and lessons that are archived on the site.
