Outreach

Most of my outreach activties are aimed at educational activities and websites. At Appalachian State University, I have participated in activities such as the German "Stammtisch" providing students learning German with a chance to practice, and the Upward Bound Career Mentorship Program. In addition, I have contributed to educational materials, including the Blue Ridge Parkway's Kids in Parks program, curricular materials for preschool through college level students, several science museums, greenhouses, and the ARKive and Encyclopedia of Life image collections.
