Derek Stanovsky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies and has been teaching at Appalachian State University since 1995. He is the Director of Internet Studies, teaches courses on Internet Studies, Marx's Capital and in Watauga College, and is a member of the Women's Studies and Labor Studies faculties.
