In this course issues of importance related to our environment are examined. Using an ecological approach, what constitutes the various ecosystems of the planet are related to how human activities are altering the earths environment. Global climate change, air and water pollution, overpopulation, and sustainability are all covered. Students are required to write two papers and participate in active discussions of lecture and paper subjects.
