If things get better with age, then the home I just moved into is perhaps the best house in all of Watauga county. It was originally built by William Horton in the late 1830's and still looks very much the same today with original trim and paneling in the upstairs and on the front porch. The barn came down in the late 1970's and has been replaced by a detached garage / woodshop. See photo below. | ||
