All adults are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines in Watauga, Ashe and Alleghany counties. If you have not already received your vaccine, we encourage you to get vaccinated at an upcoming clinic.
App State’s community vaccine clinic is currently administering the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) “one-shot” vaccine, and serves students, faculty, staff and community members. The Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine is approved for adults ages 18 and older.
App State clinics use an online scheduling tool. Choose your preferred appointment time and complete the registration form. You will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully completed your registration.
App State’s Community Vaccine Clinics are held at the Holmes Convocation Center and are open to students, faculty, staff and community members.
There is no charge for the vaccine, nor do you need to provide any insurance information.
Clinic schedules are based on vaccine allotments, so dates and times may vary.
Please remember to wear a face covering and short sleeves or clothing with easy access to your upper arm.
Visit the university's COVID-19 Vaccines page to register for an upcoming App State vaccine clinic and to view additional local vaccine providers and distribution centers and other COVID-19 vaccine-related resources.
