The university is open, with emergency management protocols activated. Spring Break has been extended until 8am March 23. In accordance with UNC System guidance, App State will transition from in-person instruction to a system of alternative course delivery, where possible and practical, with alternative course delivery beginning March 23. Our goal is to return to in-person instruction as soon as reasonably possible. Residence halls and dining halls are open. We are actively promoting social distancing, and have encouraged students to study and take classes from home. App State's COVID-19 information website
