Message from Chancellor Everts regarding President Roper Memo dated March 24
UNC System President Roper sent a memo to Chancellors yesterday afternoon suspending all non-essential human resources actions.
As this memo is circulating throughout the System, I want to be sure you see it as soon as possible. I recognize this raises many questions for our campus. We are working through what this means for our campus, and you will receive additional guidance specific to Appalachian as soon as possible this week.
You are all pulling incredible loads for Appalachian right now. Thank you, all, for your continued work as we navigate this rapidly changing public health crisis.
