Opt-in enhanced pass-no credit alternate grading system offered for Spring 2020

Appalachian State has adopted opt-in alternate grading systems for all undergraduate and graduate students for the Spring 2020 semester. These policies were approved by the Deans Council and the Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Policies and Procedures Committees. Under these systems, undergraduate and graduate students will have the option of choosing to switch to an Enhanced Pass-No Credit Alternate Grading System on a course-by-course basis for a time period after grades have been submitted. They also have the option to withdraw from a course up to 24 hours after final grades have been posted. Exclusions exist where licensure/accreditation dictate.
