TEACHING GOAL AND APPROACH
Goal: Beyond mastering the specific knowledge range of each course, I want to serve my students so that they develop wholistically. A broad goal of the course is inhanced cognitive development by practicing and improving skills in reading comprehension, analysis and evaluation, and writing for clear communication.
Approach: My style is "old school": guided learning with reading and writing outside of every class, in-class participation, and in-class exercises and lectures that extend the learning.
