I've been a travel writer for more than 25 years.

Now is my time to study.

I fell in love with sustainable tourism attending press trips and tourism conferences in the Caribbean through all these years. Now, here I am at Appalachian State University to accomplish my dream of having a BA on Sustainable Development. My plan is to apply it on sustainable tourism, which benefits culture and communities somewhere in the American continent.

 My hobbies are healthy cooking, breathing deeply, diving, hiking, yoga, and swimming. I think that home is where you are. and I'm here now.  App State is my "here and now,"  and it can't be better. I miss my family but I feel  already rooted in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.

I'm privileged of this opportunity of completing my education here in ASU.
