John W. Boy, sometimes called "John Noog," was the son of Jeremiah and Mary Mallonee Boy. Ellen was the daughter of Jacob Boy, Jr. and Ruth Mallonee. We're not sure, at this point, what the relation between Jeremiah and Jacob was, although Jeremiah is listed as living with Jacob in 1850. Ruth and Mary Mallonee were sisters, daughters of John Mallonee (c.1778- ?) and Elizabeth ? (c.1786- ?) who moved from Maryland to Washington Co., Tennessee around 1808.
