Although you are welcome to visit our campus anytime, we encourage you to consider the visiting during Open House or scheduling a campus tour to ensure that you have a successful and enjoyable visit to Appalachian. Campus Tours

• Schedule your tour.
• Tours are available throughout the year except for holidays and University breaks and are hosted by the Appalachian Student Ambassadors.
• The 2 hour visit includes a multi-media presentation highlighting the area, the campus, and our students; a discussion of admission criteria; a walking campus tour; and opportunities to meet with University representatives. Spanish speaking tour guides are availalble.
• Group tours

Open House

During Open House, students and their families can take part in a number of planned activities designed to give them a closer look at academic and social life at the university. On-Campus Accommodations

Overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian's on-campus Broyhill Inn and Conference Center offers a convenient location with newly refurbished rooms and a full-service conference center. Located on a hill above the main campus, the Inn is surrounded by a breathtaking 25-mile view at 3,500 feet in elevation. It is just minutes from winter ski resorts, summer attractions, fly fishing, white water rafting, championship golf courses and many cultural events.
