Chancellor Sheri Everts and the university’s COVID-19 response team continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, and remain in regular contact with state and local public health agencies as well as UNC System leadership. Read her weekly messages to campus. In her April 29 update to campus, Chancellor Everts shared that the university will reduce the frequency of university operations updates and Chancellor updates throughout the summer months. Additionally, beginning Monday, May 9, the university COVID-19 dashboard will change to providing overall metrics, as well as key end-of-year statistics. The university will continue emphasizing the importance of vaccines for the overall health and safety of the campus and community.
