Justin Mitchell

- Currently resides in Boone, North Carolina

Personal Interests:

-Church: I am a member of South River Baptist Church in Statesville, NC but I am currently attending Greenway Baptist Church in Boone, NC

-Music: Music is a big part of my life. I enjoy different genres of music. I have had the opportunity to vocally perform throughout the eastern United States. I also recorded a contemporary Christian project in Nashville TN. One of my most challenging opportunities was performing in High Steppin' Country, a family style show in Myrtle Beach SC.

-Camping: I love to camp even though I don't get to as much as I would like. My dad took me camping as a young boy which sparked my interest. As I grew older I was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America, where I worked my way up to the rank of Eagle Scout. This also cultivated my love for camping.

-Hiking: What better place to hike than the mountains. I love to hike a trail on a Sunday afternoon and take in all of the natural beauty we have been blessed with. One of my favorite places to hike here in the Boone area is Cone Manor.

-Traveling: I want to see the world! I love to see and experience new things. If I have the opportunity to go somewhere new, you had better believe that I have a ticket! This past year I spent a week in the Bahamas, which by the way, I think I could live there forever. I also went to Las Vegas, which was also so much fun!

-Laughing: I make a constant effort to keep smiling and make laughter a major part of my life. I believe that laughter is medicine for the soul. I think we allow ourselves to get caught up in being so stressed and overwhelmed that sometimes we just need to let go, and laugh even when no one else is.
