Stonehenge

"There are an astounding number of cultures that have flourished in Britain before dying out to make way for the next group.  The prehistoric people who built Stonehenge, the Romans and their baths, the Vikings with their legacy of seafaring and the Normans, Anglos, Saxons, and others who all leave traces of their societies on one little island.  Stonehenge especially puts into perspective how long people have been working, living, and worshipping here."
