Whats Available?

Here are spreadsheets that will help you to reach your true fitness dreams. Just click on the links below to launch the individual applications - remember, you must have Microsoft Excel in order to view these documents. Upon completion of the series of fitness testing done through class, this assignment will allow you to determine your VO2 Max and current level of fitness.

 

Assignment

Develop three charts that show 1) Average age of those that participated in the assesment, 2) Average fitness assesment of males v. females.

Use your fitness test results for the Cooper Test, Beep Test, and 5 mile run to calculate your VO2 Max using the website hyperlinked to the spreadsheet headers. Find your average VO2 Max by using the spread sheet (see examples). Calculate your overall VO2 Max by averaging your three test averages (one for each test). This will give your accurate VO2 Max. Once this figure is established, use the hyperlinked website to determine your level of fitness.
